Sophie Bird

Sophie is a chartered physiotherapist specialising in veterinary physiotherapy. Sophie graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University. Her journey commenced in the NHS in the UK, where she completed rotations in various specialties, including musculoskeletal, neurology & respiratory care.

In 2018, Sophie embarked on a new chapter by relocating to New Zealand, where she furthered her expertise in musculoskeletal & orthopaedic rehabilitation. Alongside this Sophie completed a PGDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Liverpool University, enabling her to transfer her physiotherapy skills to the veterinary field.

• Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy (PGDip Veterinary Physiotherapy) - University of Liverpool, UK

• NZ Physiotherapy Board registered (NZPB)

• APPI Level 1-3 Matwork Pilates certification
